State House Energy Committee to meet Wednesday

Several bills relating to oil and gas and water will be taken up this week in a meeting of the Energy Committee of the Oklahoma House of Representatives.

The Wednesday morning meeting agenda includes votes on a proposed Energy Act, brine development and civil liability actions in oil and gas matters,

1. Welcome and Introductions

   2. SB1191 – Oklahoma Energy Initiative Act; repealing Oklahoma Low Carbon Energy Initiative Board. Effective date. (Bashore) PENDING SECOND READING AND ASSIGNMENT

3. SB1976 – Oil and gas; authorizing certain operators to make voluntary election. Emergency.(Boles) PENDING SECOND READING AND ASSIGNMENT

4. SB1613 – Liquefied petroleum gas; modifying provisions related to the State Liquefied Petroleum Gas Administrator and the Oklahoma Liquefied Petroleum Gas Board. Effective date. (Cornwell) PENDING SECOND READING AND ASSIGNMENT

5. SB1439 – Oil and gas; prohibiting covered civil liability actions. Effective date. (Moore) PENDING SECOND READING AND ASSIGNMENT
