In the latest Mitchell talks energy with Jerry Bohnen, they take a deep dive into energy permitting, U.S. Sen. Alan Armstrong and Gov. Kevin Stitt.
Armstrong hopes to have a persuasive role in the U.S. Senate in attempting to accomplish energy reforms, not just for oil and gas but for all energy sources.
“It’s not really the Senate’s role to approve individual projects, really, that gets done in places like the FERC,” Armstrong said when he was introduced to the state Capitol press corps. “That’s not something that I would have jurisdiction over. So my goal is going to be to get permitting reform done for all forms of energy.”
